just did the update this morning
did look at a few sites and when coming back I saw the data flashing red ??? It is clickable and refreshes the page ā¦ what triggers the red ?

The flashing red background is triggered by an updatefiles that downloads new updates. Itās to let you know there are updates.
It will turn off when the new updated files are run and updatefiles runs to clear the flags. I am working on a better solution to clear the flags.
I also have a new database update coming in a few days. Itās mostly to speed up the applications. The incremental database updates have been tested and are working well.
No more issues when one is behind on updates.
How should I run altertables?

Open a terminal window and run node altertables.
I should add this to the About tab to make it easier.

Up and running, deleted all logs and watching the Panel and the wind indicator rotating through 0.

Air is not updating in the Panel, but it looks like it is online.
Let me go restart everything and see if that fixes it.
P.S. We should get WF to update their app with the Wind Indicator Solution as their app always takes the long way around too.

While sleeping last night I developed a method to alert you to updates then have the alert removed after updates have been applied. I will work on putting that into the code this morningā¦

What are your thoughts on wind and rain indicators?
The wind looks good - we have a cold front this am and indicator flowing back and forth around 0.
Had a little drizzle saw the drizzle animation for a few minutes.

I have had several occasions where my temperature doesnt update for many hours yet the wind is updating normal. If I reopen the display window (I dont remember if I restarted the ādisplayā) after several minutes of temp ādarknessā the temp is then correct. If I leave it reading wrong then the next day the temp is good again. I havnt reported it because I havnt looked through the errors to see why but due to @mao reporting similar I thought I should mention it for you
My air is often going on off and on line but only quickly whereas the temp being an old value remains possibly to the nightly update.

Ian,
Thank you for the report. Look at battery indicators. You will see a number to the right of each. That is the number of seconds since the last update for the Air and Sky and should not go over 60. The UDP data is sent to the web page and the JavaScript will update the display. Any time you see data missing, send me a screenshot and so I can see what you see.
You can also look on the Sever tab and turn on debug to see that data that is being transfered between the scripts. You will not see the UDP data as the Panel script send it directly to the web page. All data coming from Archive and the Server will show up on the screen.

After I updated - went about 10 minutes with no updates from the Air.
I ran my udp sniffer and the Air was sending data.
Then, all of sudden Panel started updating.
Canāt say what the problem was ā¦
I will keep an eye on things and see if it happens again.
Also rebooted my router ājust in caseā something was dorked.

If by chance you see that issue when using Chrome on a desktop, press F12 and view the Console.
Look for anything strange

Are you working on files right now? I just updated and have a bunch of errors.

Chuck, I am so sorry. I accidentally uploaded a file to the wrong folder and that caused the version I am working on to go live.
So, I screwed up and if any of you have any issues, please let me know. The new upgrade system I put into place should be work but it hasnāt been fully tested.
I just uploaded a fixed file so do an update and restart Archive.
AlterTables completed so no harm there. I donāt know why it threw an error so if you still get an error let me know.
For the Panel, go into the web server and check if the Active box is checked on Alert, Panel, Piio, and Upload IF you want these services active. Recheck the box and submit the page. Then restart everything.

Archive errors have stopped.
Still have the DUP_KEYNAME when I run Altertables.
Doesnāt seem to affect anythingā¦
