# Hub USB to computer connection?

Is it possible to just plug the hub into a computer’s usb port for power and have the hub access the internet through the computer internet connection?

The computer hotspot consumes extra power. I’d like the hub to share internet through the usb port.

No, this won’t work. The USB port on the hub is only to power it. There is no data link.
