# Lots of broadcast (255.255.255.255) traffic

Is the hub supposed to be sending out lots of broadcast traffic (dst mac ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff; dst ip 255.255.255.255; dst port 50222; UDP)?

Yes, that is the default for publishing your data on your local network… so you can collect YOUR data and do what you want to with it.

Any way to reduce it? Or, make it not broadcast traffic?

Yes that is normal… no way to reduce it or not broadcast it.
