# New R package for Tempest weather API and new C++ UDP logger

New (24hrs!) Tempest owner with two contributions to the community.

First, an [R package](https://github.com/hrbrmstr/tempestwx) for the REST API (with a couple TODOs, but the core API coverage is there) that also includes the ability to do local UDP logging.

A small, standalone, [C+±based UDP logger](https://github.com/hrbrmstr/weatherflow) to stdout that works on macOS (testing linux later today; I rly have no love for Windows so I will not care if it runs there or not).
