We could do with an IFTT recipe to send a trigger to a smart plug to turn on when power drops below 2.4V so as to provide charge to whatever is rigged up.
(so first off I have trouble with false rain reading/installation sighting now into the 1st winter with it and I get battery trouble)
Hi all, same situation here in the West Midlands, UK.
My Tempest has just been replaced by Customer Support but the dark gloomy miserable days here were too much for the replacement and with no sun whatsoever I ended up with a battery now reading 2.11v.
My days are spent deleting messages telling me the Tempest is either on or offline, other than that it’s currently useless but at least I have my trusty old Davis Vantage Vue to keep me informed - good on you Davis, thanks for that.
I’ll have two of your “fix me quick” battery boosters please Weatherflow, just in time for the summer.
I’m also in the W.Mid’s
Mine had gone into Mode 3 yesterday but then a break in the clouds for a few min’s put it back into Mode 2.
How/where is it installed? Sound’s like you need it up higher!
