I have a need to reinstall an older version of wfpiconsole, specifically version v23.3.1. Is there a way to do this? I have some old hardware that crashed and some customizations and hardware make it impossible to use the latest release and I must stay on Buster because of it.

I tried looking around on Github but I could not figure out how to find old releases.

Thanks,

Danno

Have you tried reaching out to the developer on github? He is very responsive

Developer here! You can download a zip file containing past versions from Guthub: [Releases · peted-davis/WeatherFlow\_PiConsole · GitHub](https://github.com/peted-davis/WeatherFlow_PiConsole/releases) (click the dropdown next to Assets under each release). You will have to unzip and copy the contents to you `wfpiconsole` directory manually as you can’t use the automated installer to install a previous version

Thanks Peter. I figured it was there but hadn’t tried doing something like this so thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

I downloaded and unzipped but when I run wfpiconsole install it does an update to the latest version. I guess I need to comment out the check for a newer version in the script before running it?

I’m not sure the order you are trying to do things in, but once you have run `wfpiconsole install`, just copy the contents of the zip archive with the old version into the `wfpiconsole` directory. That should overwrite the latest version and you should be good to go

Ok, thanks. I did that and it runs.
