I have been an avid weather enthusiast since becoming a trained weather spotter while I was on the local fire department 20 years ago. I have been self teaching myself to read radar maps and data through different web sights for many years. I have been always interested in becoming a contributor of weather data by getting a reporting weather station. I finally purchased the Tempest when I seen the program and intelligent learning system that is involved.
