I’m a young man of 68 years. I have been a Volunteer Fireman in my youth, an EMT working on city ambulance crews. Later a RN working in an inner city Hospital MICU and ER for 20 years. I hold a HAM license although I don’t have any radios at present. I have been a member of RACES and a storm spotter in the past and continue to be interested in weather. Now it is more for if I need to water the lawn or will it be dry enough to mow.
At present I have a weather station that was a gift from my Sister In Law and her husband. It is being sent back to them since the Gill MetPack II bit the dust. They work for Campbell Scientific in Utah and will get it repaired and his brother will use it. After looking and shopping around I was thrilled to find the Tempest. Just what I wanted. Also looking at the forums here they seem to be great.
