Hold a private pilot license since I was young, like all pilots, I love the weather so running my own weather station is great.
Have 34 solar panels and 9000 litres of rainwater tanks for the garden (but still mains connected for electricity and town water).
Monthly power bill is normally negative and obviously our extensive garden and trees we water for free.
