Has anyone at tempest thought about using an auxiliary solar panel to provide more juice in cloudy weather instead of adding more batteries which would have to be replaced on a regular basis and would accumulate in our landfills?

You can do this via the power booster. you can link an extra solar panel (you can buy any within specs on the market)
