A general question / statement. I have noticed since I installed my booster pack, that the Tempest appears to charge above 2.55v and then the voltage slowly drops, before it charges again.
Am io correct in thinking, that once a min voltage is reach, the supply from the booster pack then switches off until the voltage has dropped below a certain value??

Yes, that is the way it works when the PBA is being powered by AA batteries (considered backup power if the Tempest’s internal battery runs low). If you use the wall power transformer or wire external DC to its power input connector, it will charge the Tempest to full power and then keep using the external power…
