I know this is a big ask, but I really wish the app could offer hourly W/m2 solar forecasts rather than just “partly cloudy”. I bought into Tempest because I live in an odd little microclimate, and while I can infer some information from available data, there are limits.
Personally I would use the data for tuning my solar/battery system for the day to optimize self consumption/export power and EV charging.
