Buy a snapmaker 3-in-1 3d printer. When I did it, I had no direct use for it, especially not for the laser or cnc part. I didn’t use those option for months, but they are so much fun to play with. Now I’m designing and making useless stuff like planetaria (orreries). Yes useless, but as a hobby it is great fun. One of these days I’ll make a physical display connected to the tempest.
Funny story is that one of my many former hobbies was designing/building 3D printers. My last design iteration had a heated build chamber to prevent warping with structural-grade materials, and could easily print four mockup Tempests at the same time. I was using it to print large airfoil ribs for a new set of composite race car wings when my mean heart doctors pulled my competition license, and haven’t powered it on since because anything that reminds me of my forced retirement from racing is depressing… ![]()
sorry about your heart. Hopefully it isn’t a constant problem in your current way of living.
Perhaps my 3d printed astronomical clock can convince you to start it up again https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVsi_MvwE84 ![]()
Sorry to necropost, but for searchability, here’s my slightly more complete decoding of the BLE notifies.
@edouard I’m not seeing the 0x18 “instant wind” notifies that you did. Was there anything else you had to do to receive these? Or perhaps there was a firmware change in the last few years and they are no longer sent.
