ArchiveSW - Display & Data Archive Storage

That will come next week. I want to get the current application set and released. There are still some changes coming.

Has the install script changed? It’s stopping at ā€œcopying filesā€ and going back to the command prompt. I just installed a clean raspbian os and tried to reinstall wfarchive.

I’ve noticed that the min/max in all panels don’t update until I either refresh the current browser or launch a new one. Oddly enough , If I open it on a new device, it will update all open panels as if I had refreshed them all. Then they all remain static until the next refresh. Is this planed behavior? or did I miss something in the setup?

The values should update every time there is a change to the high or low value. I will watch it and see if I can find the issue.

also when the page stays in the forefront ? Modern browsers do ā€˜pause’ pages when they are not actively on the forefront, maybe they just also ā€˜pause’ the script underneath that updates the values …
I see this with several sites on my Safari or FF. I have several windows next to each other but if I go to the page next to one … it stops updating till I click back in it.

That’s actually not odd. When you start the page, it sends a request to the server asking for all current data. The data is sent to all open connections. This is an uninttended side effect but it’s good so I left it this way

Running the panel on 3 different tablets, the Pi display and a PC browser. All have the same Issue. Just an FYI. A possibly related note. I had some rain today and the 60 min and today also aren’t updating. Wish I could be more help but I’m not a programer.

Make sure all files are updated and all services have been restarted.

Just reinstalled again last nite. Checked for updated files just now- none. Restarted all services.
I’ll watch it for a while and see if it updates.

Okay. The next step is to watch it and see if it updates. If it does not, reload the page and see if the values update. That help me locate where the issue is.

Also, run

node altertables

from a terminal window and let me know if it reports anything.

OK Ran altertables! altertables|281x500
Hope you can see the picture, Had to take it with my phone.

That corrected my error. Now I have to figure out what I left out of a new install.

Thank you Chuck.

Let me know if you want me to test it, I’m not worried about losing data. Easy to wipe the sd card and start again
