The AIR & SKY devices require AA batteries. We strongly recommend using Energizer Ultimate Lithium (not alkaline, not lithium ion or other rechargeables) as they perform much better in outdoor environments. Always use fresh batteries from the same pack to ensure optimal performance.
AIR requires four (4) AA batteries.
- Twist off the bottom cover of AIR.
- Open the battery compartment.
- Slide four AA batteries into the battery compartment. Make sure the batteries are inserted in the correct direction with the negative end touching the springs.
- Close the battery door. The LED/button should light up briefly, then go out.
- Replace the bottom cover by aligning the grooves and twisting clockwise until the base locks into place.
SKY requires eight (8) AA batteries.
- Twist off the pole mount of SKY (if attached).
- Open the battery compartment.
- Slide eight AA batteries into the battery compartment. All batteries in the SKY should face the same direction with the positive ends pointing towards the battery door.
- Close the battery door. The LED/button should light up briefly, then go out.
- Replace the pole mount.
