Looked at various topics in the Forums. . .but didn’t seem to find exactly what I was looking for… so I’ll ask here. How long does it take to calibrate a new Tempest? Just set up the Replacement on Saturday afternoon (Sept 5th) to replace the one that will be returned. The temperature is off by 0.4 to 0.5 of a fahrenheit degree from Tempest Field Test. . .and the Pressure is 0.60 of an inch higher than Field Test. Both Tempests are located 2.5 feet apart.
Various values can take two to four weeks. It is dependent on how well data is presented.

Thanks Gary; Not quite sure what “presented” means. Same as displayed or vetted?
For entrance, solar and UV need direct sun at noon. If it’s raining or cloudy for several days the presented data is useless towards calibration.

Hi Gary. . . one last question. If Tempest attempts to calibrate a parameter and fails. . .will it try and try until successful? Or… .will it attempt 1 maybe 2 passes and then that’s it. e.g. you mentioned above about solar and UV. If it is cloudy for several days, would Tempest make another attempt on the next available sunny day at High Noon?
