Yesterday some nice thunderstorm passed through. I love this graph. The obvious way to plot this is just using some black dots. That would also be the most accurate one. But the nice effect of drawing transparent bars is that they blend together to make darker shades of blue during high activity. Really nice.
There is however a difference between desktop (firefox) in the top image and android in the lower image. Android apparently uses only two shades of blue. Would be great if we could have a few more on Android as well.
