What do the different blue shadings on the lightning detection mean? Thanks.
There are actually two lightning graphs that display slightly different information. The primary “lightning” graph shows each individual strike as a semi-transparent blue rectangle. The horizontal center point of the rectangle indicates the time the strike was detected (x-axis) and the upper and lower point of the blue rectangle indicates the estimated distance of the strike (y-axis). Depending on your zoom level, the rectangles may “stack up” on each other creating the variable shading.
The “strike count” graph is simpler: it shows the number of strikes in whatever time period you are zoomed in to, with no indication of distance.
Please share a screenshot if that doesn’t answer your question. Thank!
