PBA Installation: Excess Cable - What to do?

I purchased a PBA and installed it yesterday.
The cable running distance between PBA and sensor is only about 8 feet which leaves me
with a lot of excess cable. Am wondering if there might be a shorter cable option?

p.s. following the install the sensor batteries charged from 2.11V to 2.57V in about 4 hours.

There’s no need to shorten it. It’s like that by design and is capable of handling the current and keeping it stable
