Yes, data from multiple sources, including our devices. Back when RainCheck was introduced, I hoped it would be more real time to help overcome some of the design limitations of a haptic sensor. Fast forward with RC Today and I think it’s getting close!

we have been developing a process that analyzes the rain data from each SKY/Tempest and compares it to a quality reference sources including CoCoRaHS reports, co-located tipping buckets, radar estimates, NASA analyses, and more, with the goal of producing the best estimate of precipitation accumulation available.
