I’ve built a pretty nice dashboard in my Home Assistant for my Tempest weather station. I’ve also added my father’s station via the WeatherflowCloud integration with his API token, duplicated the dashboard with his data, and sent him a tablet that connects to my HA remotely. It’s neat that he can see his weather station info, or swipe and see my weather station.
We want to expand this to my brother, but he has no Tempest system (and isn’t likely to want to install one, just not in his wheelhouse). He lives in Seattle proper, so there’s tons of stations already near him that would give the same data anyway, including one that’s maybe 700 feet from his house. Does anyone know if there’s a way I can pull in the data from one of those stations without needing an API key? Or, is there someone who would be willing to share their Seattle API key in exchange for me sharing my Tampa key with them?
