Do you think you’ll ever sell via Amazon? Even importing from Amazon US the customs fees etc are included, so at least we know the final price upfront, and if they are not charged, we get refunded - which has been the case for me a couple of times.
I see several Weatherflow items on Amazon.com - and this one is around the same price (pre-Discount) and shipping is only $19.19 including import fees and duty, for example:
@dave Speculating that the Amazon shipping pricing you see referenced in the WEATHERmeter product listing is very low because we have some WEATHERmeter inventory already in Amazon Europe. It is doubtful we will be stocking the Solar Power accessory in Amazon EU anytime soon.
Also, selling on Amazon takes such a huge chunk of margin that we would not be able to afford much/any discounting on the product.
I am really happy I brought one to Vietnam. The unit works well in Saigon.

can the build in 1000mAh battery easily be replaced, or will it loose max capacity over time and become useless in 4 years?

As it has been different for the delivery of the stations from the campaign, I yust wanted to offer you the opportunity to clearly mention this, not to get bad comments or returned packages afterwards. 
The international customers have to be aware oft those extra fees.

Not easily, no.
It will loose some capacity over time but there is so much extra capacity built in that it should last well over 4 years.

I had an Electric Vehicle I converted from lead-acid batteries to LiFePO4 cells. They are still going strong and it has been almost 10 years in service. I expect the LiFePO4 cells in the SPA to easily out last the 5-year design goal.

In that case, it sounds like a remote solar panel, and rechargeable battery setup would be what you are after?
