Just came back from a visit to Astoria, Ore, and I would suggest donating a station to the visitor center at the Astoria Column. There seem to be two consumer-level stations there now, both of which the anemometers have stopped working. There are three stations broadcasting in Astoria now, adding one up at a high point near the column would actually provide some valuable airspeed data compared to the ones lower down. I bet the poorly-financed visitor center would be happy to replace one of the current stations.
