Running latest wfpiconsole on a pi4. A few weeks ago I noticed that wind speed/direction are being displayed, but the temperature and baro sections are blank. The Tempest app shows all three. Tried updating both pi (with apt get) and wfpiconsole update (no update found). Suggestions on how to troubleshoot?
Looks like your device is suffering from a failed temperature, RH and pressure sensor. Try and reboot your Tempest to see if they come back online
Thank you - I should have looked at the detail page. Reboot as in press the button at the base of the sensor? I don’t see any way to do that remotely.
you need to physically take your tempest off your mount and on the bottom press the clear button for 10 seconds. if that doesn’t work. you need to ask for a new one. how old is your tempest?
Thank you. It’s over 4 years old, so a candidate for replacement.I’ll try resetting it later today.
And resetting didn’t fix the problem. Replacement on order. Wonder if the latest stations have any improvements?
