Any chance of adding Humidex for Canadian customers?

I’m intrigued . . . I’ve never heard of Humidex.
I did a little research, and it appears Canada is the only place (that I can find) that uses “Humidex”.

I think my ROKU app could display Humidex, I will need to determine if the station is in Canada based on the lat/lon, but that can be done.

COOL NEWS
My ROKU App has been recognized as one of WeatherFlow’s “top 10” integrations!!

On your ROKU device:
Home>Streaming Channels>Search Channels>“weatherflow data viewer V2”

Add the channel and follow the directions.

I’m correcting you, because you’re wrong.

Humidex is used as a measure of hot, humid weather, NOT cold.

The humidex formula is as follows:

{\displaystyle H=T_{\text{air}}+0.5555\left[6.11\times e^{5417.7530\left({\frac {1}{273.16}}-{\frac {1}{273.15+T_{\text{dew}}}}\right)}-10\right]}

where

  • H denotes the Humidex
  • Tair is the air temperature in °C
  • Tdew is the dewpoint temperature in °C
  • e = 2.71828 is an approximation of Euler’s number

Looks easy enough to program to me, using only two inputs which are provided by the Tempest.

I live in the US and had never heard of Humidex until yesterday

I was making speculations in my post, fully admitting I was not knowledgeable about Humidex. I have edited out those speculations as I do not want to give the impression, I was stating facts and confuse things.

I was including the need for vapor pressure from a previous poster.

Wikipedia provides a nice straight forward explanation.
