Battery Replacement Access

I’m having to replace my Sensor unit because it will not charge anymore. I remember the days of wireless phones, or even laptops, where you’d have to replace the battery after a while because they wouldn’t charge anymore, and I think that access would help users keep their units longer! Could even sell the battery packs!

If you do some searching of the forums you’ll see some posts from folks who have taken their gear apart and replaced the batteries with replacements they found online. Not a trivial task.

Bigger Battery Booster

Last December we had a very long stretch of dull days and the tempest didn’t charge at all during that period. Of course the tempest went to the highest power save mode and stopped measuring wind, rain and lightning.
