Does anyone else have this indicator in their Tempest sensor? I have two units on my house and one has it and one doesn’t.
If a Cellular Hub is connected to wifi, I’m pretty sure that it shuts down the cellular radio.
If neither of them are Cellular Hubs, I would ignore the error or open a ticket with support asking why this info is even being displayed…

Thanks. I never realized that Tempest had built in cell receivers. I know somewhere in the forum someone steampunked one together and attached it to buoy off shore.
None of the home Tempest stations have cellular radios. It is only in one model of the TempestOne commercial Hub, with a premium price tag versus the regular TempestOne commercial Hub. That’s why I’m suggesting a ticket with tech support, because the odds are pretty high that you don’t have one and the info above shouldn’t be displayed.
If you do actually have one of these Hubs, it turns off the cellular radio when connected to wifi to save cellular data charges. Also worth noting is that the data upload interval is 5 minutes over the cellular link to conserve cellular data usage…
