This morning at about 4 am my Tempest started displaying crazy wind readings. They are continuing now - I’ve been outside and there is a slight breeze, but nothing like the 20 mph winds being recorded. Any ideas for me?
Bugs/spiders/water in the wind slot???
Looks like it fixed itself this morning. I suspect rain or some other obstruction in the wind gap
Once again my Tempest (133411) is reporting crazy wind and gusts. We had rain all day yesterday so perhaps water in the wind slot? But other units not far from me (93462 and 95308) had the same rain and their wind reports are normal.
Between 10:15 and 10:25 this morning wind reading returned to normal. Maybe the gap finally dried out?
