This seems to be a recurring issue, but I have not seen a fix other than a firmware update. My hub goes offline every night shortly after midnight for the last 4-5 nights, but reconnects every morning around 8:30am. The installation has not changed for the last three years, and the internet service does not drop out, nor does the router reboot automatically. Could this be a firmware issue for me as well?
did you check the log file in the router? It’s unlikely that the firmware of the hub causes it to shutdown at midnight, to come back on at 8:30. Did you schedule some powersaving option in the router?
