Rain Check Question for outside USA

I understand that RC only works at the moment in the USA and maybe Canada soon.

I have seen mention elsewhere that Weatherflow have said that the function to turn it off on the app is only for what you see in the app, it does not turn it off pithing the device. Is this correct??

If you cannot actually turn off the function then what effect does this have for units outside the USA

Absolutely none! RainCheck is not run server-side for non-continental US stations

Peter, many thanks clearing that up, so guess for outside USA make sure its set to off.

It doesn’t make a difference. I have always had it set to on, but because nothing happens server-side, the selection toggle has no effect
