I built a small, free macOS menu bar app for Tempest owners who want to check their station’s current conditions without opening the Tempest web dashboard or mobile app.
It runs in the Mac menu bar and gives you a quick, always-available view of your own Tempest data. I created it primarily for my own workflow—I like being able to glance at current local conditions while I’m working—but I thought other Mac-based Tempest users might find it useful too.
What it does
• Displays current Tempest conditions directly in the macOS menu bar
• Provides a quick view of key readings from your personal station
• Uses your Tempest account authorization to access your station data
• Is free to install and use
• Runs through Glaze, a macOS platform for menu-bar apps
What it is not
This is an independent community project and is not an official Tempest or WeatherFlow application. It is intended as a lightweight companion to the excellent Tempest apps and web dashboard—not a replacement for them.
You do need to install Glaze to use this Tempest app, but you do not need a paid Glaze subscription to install or use it.

You can find it in the Glaze Store here:

Feedback welcome
I would really value feedback from other Tempest owners, especially on:
• Which data points are most useful in a menu-bar glance
• Preferred menu-bar formats, such as temperature only, temperature plus conditions, wind, rain, or lightning
• Multiple-station support
• Unit preferences
• Alerts or thresholds that would be genuinely useful
• Any setup friction or bugs you encounter
I’ll use the feedback here to prioritize updates. Thanks to the Tempest community and the WeatherFlow team for providing a platform that enables useful personal weather integrations.
