I have one wfpiconsole that loses touchscreen input after a while. If I reboot the RPI, the touchscreen will function again for a while. I don’t use the touchscreen much except for switching back to the barometer window after a lightning event.
Does the touchscreen stop working if you are not running wfpiconsole? This sounds more like a system or OS issue, but it is worth checking
