Can someone tell me what “SW 3.9 mph” represents as far as data in the screen shot below? I know it is a South West wind at 3.9mph but is it an average for a minute, 5 minutes, etc…

Can someone tell me what “SW 3.9 mph” represents as far as data in the screen shot below? I know it is a South West wind at 3.9mph but is it an average for a minute, 5 minutes, etc…

It is the average for the previous minute.
BUT
With the Sky which preceeded the Tempest the Sky always (unless it was switched to power save mode) used 3 second readings to calculate the one minute average.
The Tempest changes how often it takes a reading depending on the battery voltage.
So if your Tempest is at full voltage taking 3 second readings then that figure is the average of the readings from the previous minute.
As your battery voltage drops the readings are taken less frequently.
