I live on the water and have an electronic water temp sensor. It’s mounted on the same pole as my tempest. But it’s not a tempest sensor, because you don’t make one. I’d happily pay 2x what my existing sensor cost to get one that integrates with my weatherflow hub and tempest data screen. Lake wind, and temperature conditions for kite / wing surf are the only reasons I own a tempest, and the only reason I have paid weatherflow apps on my phone. This function is notably absent.

I’m out of votes, but have a dock on a lake where monitoring the water temperature, wave height, and water/tide depth would be interesting…

I was hoping that Tempest would have offered a water temperature sensor by now. There are quite a few available on Amazon that have WiFi connectivity but it would have been nice to have one that integrates with the Tempest ecosystem.

They could do this with a temperature probe that works over Wi-Fi or even wireless back to the outdoor Tempest or to the Hub. Hopefully something simpler than Davis’ temp probe. Those are a pain to wire. Could also be used for soil temp.
