Where would I get an old version to install?

I have a need to reinstall an older version of wfpiconsole, specifically version v23.3.1. Is there a way to do this? I have some old hardware that crashed and some customizations and hardware make it impossible to use the latest release and I must stay on Buster because of it.

I tried looking around on Github but I could not figure out how to find old releases.

Thanks,

Danno

Have you tried reaching out to the developer on github? He is very responsive

Developer here! You can download a zip file containing past versions from Guthub: Releases · peted-davis/WeatherFlow_PiConsole · GitHub (click the dropdown next to Assets under each release). You will have to unzip and copy the contents to you wfpiconsole directory manually as you can’t use the automated installer to install a previous version

Thanks Peter. I figured it was there but hadn’t tried doing something like this so thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

I downloaded and unzipped but when I run wfpiconsole install it does an update to the latest version. I guess I need to comment out the check for a newer version in the script before running it?

I’m not sure the order you are trying to do things in, but once you have run wfpiconsole install, just copy the contents of the zip archive with the old version into the wfpiconsole directory. That should overwrite the latest version and you should be good to go

Ok, thanks. I did that and it runs.
