I wonder if there will be an integration with the weather station.
My vision of a cool hobbyist product from a WEATHER 'centric company using the “AI” term would infer a simple integration.
- Bird Species
- Bird Frequency
- Bird Duration
- Overlayed weather station telemetry (e.g. wind, lightning, rain, etc.)
- Stretch goal would be to record repeat visits from the same bird.
Without a weather integration from Tempest, this is a money-grab.
Tempest, please please do not fall into using the “AI” catch-phrase for clicks and search-results. This sounds like you are embedding the same mobile app that’s been around for years.
I don’t speak from speculation:
I own a birdhouse (pic below) that does everything advertised by Tempest.
BTW, if I’m totally wrong and there is a Tempest integration with the “Bird Buddy” my statement would be “never mind, I would like 3”

Zero market for such a niche vision. You could cobble together something yourself with a pi and the various species photo/sound automagical identification software plus imagemagick to overlay weather data, but it would be a total hobbyist self-developed thing.

My bird feeder is a commercially available unit, I did not make it.
It has a wireless camera. I only even mention it as an example that I don’t comment with no experience at all.
I would think a Tempest version would have a weather overlay included that’s all. I realize I could mash the data if I REALLY wanted it.
