Part
i was going to post pictures but it says new users can not do this !!!
Thank you for the comment, I have done the best i can i have conformal coated the board been careful to miss the sensor holes on the chips, and then i have put heat shrink tube around them again making sure there is holes for the sensors, I have resealed the top with some fish tank glue, So no more i could have dome really and honestly its worth it compared to the price of a new weather station.
3 Weeks and still going strong and we had most weather it could have thrown at it Heavy rain, snow, sun, fog, strong winds freezing temps … had some outages but that was due to battery getting very low so i had to charge the internal battery because sun is very weak and very little of it right now in the UK, I know 3 weeks is not very much but its a start fingers crossed it keeps going and i have not jinx myself lol.
still going strong 2 months later, I did however have a issues where it kept going into pairing mode, turned out to be one of the flat ribbon cables the fingers at one end had delaminated, so if your performing any repairs on a array that is more than a few years old i would replace all the flat ribbon cables they will save a lot of trouble in the long run and they are cheap enough.
