Earthquake causing false rain?

nope. This morning we had a small earthquake. I checked if its vibrations were picked up by the sky as false rain, but no such thing :slight_smile:https://www.knmi.nl/nederland-nu/seismologie/aardbevingen/laatste_beving?eventid=knmi2019jxxm

good one @sunny . We’ve actually evaluated some accelerometer technology to sense quakes. The tech is not quite applicable yet.

i can confirm @sunny it does numerous weekly/monthly earthquakes/tremors ranging from 3-4.5 with a nearby epicentre in a 100km distance ive seen two instances within last month and many over the last two years. unfortunately i currently live on a ticking time bomb no fun laying in bed rocking back and forth yeah I know  but thats what happens…

google decided to use the android phones to do exactly this. But it might be that a really dense network of accelerometers is needed to make it work and weatherflow’s network isn’t dense enough yet to do so.
