How is the forecast calculated in the app?
Does it use any data from the weather station, or is it just a canned forecast?

I’m going to hazard a guess that the “…proprietary machine learning (AI) forecasting platform…” is what’s completely horking the precipitation forecasting. It isn’t just bad, it’s worthless. I’ve had to switch to another app. As an example, compare the hourly numbers below between the Tempest app and the Weather Channel app, which ends up being far, far more accurate. This massive discrepancy extends into the extended forecasts as well. The Tempest app consistently predicts a much higher chance of precipitation and extreme weather in general than any other app, and it’s much less accurate than any other app. Whatever they’re doing to seed the AI is making it Absolutely Inaccurate.
