cannot get my wf-sky01 or my hub to work. has tempest discontinued this.
I believe that Air and Sky support was silently deprecated in the newest iteration of Tempest Hubs, so you canāt mix older sensors with newer Hubs. My old Air/Sky Hub was running fine when I pulled the power to it for a relocation last Saturday. Donāt know if they have stopped letting new stations register using the early Air/Sky Hubs, thoughā¦
i was swapping out batteries on my sky and when i turned it back on, the hub wouldnt connect to the sky and when i tried resetting/rebooting the hub wouldnt connect to bluetooth or wifi. so im having probs with the same hub and sky.
maybe you need to reset the Sky and re pair it to the hub. Sometimes it is the outside part that looses pairing. Especially if you reset the hub, you need to pair both again.
@eric - I believe that heās saying that the Hub is inaccessible via Bluetooth, which in the past has been caused by the Hub being configured by a different Bluetooth device or in some cases Android phone wonkinessā¦
next to the usual tips of this page, when you reset via the mini tiny switch, did it come back, try gently pocking it a few times and try to feel it still clicks .. we saw some āstickā and not come back out, hence locked hub. Remember that micro switch is fragile.
poking the reset button did not work. resetting the sky did not work. when i try to set up the wifi, it gives me a message saying āERROR: Make sure HUB has power and is withing 10 feet. You may need to restart the app or cycle the power on your HUB.ā which ive done ad nauseum. have also deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times.
I have one Sky and Air still reporting with sensor status good on both! And the Sky is still running on a very old WF solar panel base! I just pulled the Sky off the solar base, waited 30 seconds and put it back on. It re-connected fine and all sensor data is good.
