I know about that but all of them is count on the backers list, but the backers list is less than 3000, so they talk about order ID not the actual order number.
I count as one backer but I can have two order numbers. 1254 and 3072.
My first order is still stuck in Customs at JFK Airport in New York City. Sigh. Iâve waited almost two years, so whatâs another few daysâŚ
Gary, I got a email saying I was the 2,383 on the BackerKit for WetherFlow, I looked on Indegogo and it said I was at 2,887? Which one is the correct one? Thanks
Keith has stated that the Indiegogo number is the shipping priority.
Gary, thank you very much! Will be here when it gets here!!
Weâre all getting excited to have a production Sky.
Excited!
Order ID : 916
Order Date : June 15, 2016
Still waiting on the email about shippingâŚ
After all this time a day more or less is not a (big) issue
Looks like there has been 20+ sky units added to map at wf.fsoft⌠and 5 more hubs that is what I observed from last week hopefully that will landslide before long
As noted previously in this threadâŚtons of logistic considerations in addition to pure IGG order number. To ensure efficient and accurate delivery, we have to batch orders by type, region, qty, etc. Beyond that, every effort is being made to deliver according to order date / number.
Anyone willing to volunteer to help lick stamps at our Shenzhen factory? KiddingâŚ
I wonder if WF could do one of those cheesy ânow servedâ badges on their website? Lol. Iâm a patient backer, but Iâm also order number 2535. Itâd be great if we could see âNow Serving Order #1027â so I knew how close I was getting.
My order #1315 just arrived in my mailbox! Woo hoo!
No shipping info on BackerKit for order #2061 yet, so Iâd assume that they are still working on shipping July, 2016 as of this postingâŚ
Another batch of SKY packages just dropped off to YunExpress for shipping fulfillment. Awaiting tracking numbers so we can upload into BackerKit and email recipients of incoming goodness. Trying to keep yâall posted as best we can.
While some have added a Sky to their station, many more have replaced the pre-production Sky unit. The number shipped is much higher.
Looks like the Americans (I assume US frequencies) get it first. Cannot see the number of Skys in Europe, New Zealand or Australia increasing yet, but lots note in the US.
Hi WF
As per the instructions by the WF team on recent posts to Indiegogo querying delivery timing, I am posting here seeking an update on shipping to Australia. My BackerKit number is 66.
Regards
Do you have a rough Idea on How many units that have been shipped and what is the total ammount?
@yadame Correct. Initial batches were sent to USA for a variety of logistical reasons. As you likely know, we are US-based. We rely on our factory in Shenzhen to execute the deliveries, but we are not in Shenzhen handling each and every package â thus we donât have the crystal clarity for each order as so often requested here.
We are being intelligent and diligent to reduce the risk of (costly) errors by simplifying packing instructions to our factory. Orders are bulked by product type, radio frequencies, regions, and then by IGG order number priority.
While we wish we could, we canât say with 100% certainty exactly which batches will be going out on exact dates. Itâs just too complicated. And frankly, no matter how intelligently we attempt to organize, someone will complain. But rest assured, weâre boxing, batching, and shipping now (plus a whole lot of other more ingenious stuff like in-situ calibration via data science and AI routines).
In case youâre curious, here is an example of a tracking notice (actual backer). ALL-IN-ONE PACKAGE TRACKING | 17TRACK
Instead of bulk shipping via ocean freight (slow!!!), we use an international air freight service called YunExpress. Yun delivers tens of thousands of ecommerce orders from hundreds of vendors every day. For efficiency, they bundle up packages by region. The bundles are sent AIR-freight to the port of entry in the receiving country. The shipments then go through the customs clearance process where inspections occur and import duties are paid (by WF). Then the individual packages are contracted to local post services. In this case, FedEx SmartPost was used to deliver to the regional USPS office for final delivery by mail carrier.
This is how we can ship your package air-freight all the way from Shenzhen without charging you US$100++ for international air freight ultimately saving you $$.
@fredrik_fors Last year we delivered AIR + HUB to over 1375 recipients who ordered early and chose to receive a split shipment. And we have sent ~950 SKYs out so far this month.
