Looking for some guidance here.
I have an application that I would like to display the amount of rain accumulated as of the current timestamp.
Which of the JSON data-points expresses that?
The 2 outlined below seem very close until you get a lot of rain then they diverge.
Observation shows the phone app uses “precip_accum_local_day_final” but that is counter to the heading . . .

I still don’t really understand. What is the “raincheck”?
Maybe my thinking is wrong:
If I had a rain gauge tube, it just accumulates rain; what is the “raincheck” that adds to that measurment?
