I found a magnetic base with the camera thread screw. Is that going to mess up the Air or Sky readings?
AIR uses a lightning sensor that detects electromagnetic pulses or changes in the EMG field. For the best results, you’d want to site AIR away from metal, electronics, magnets, etc. Feel free to try it out though!
If your AIR detects regular “false positive” strikes, this may be due to another source of electromagnetic interference (motors, fluorescent lighting, radios, computer electronics, etc.). Be sure to locate your AIR away from these sources.
