After an extended mode where the PIConsole was unplugged I’ve lost the OS and the weather application… Any way to reload?

Actually after several minutes and reboots it finally came up. It would still be nice to do a full OS and App install.

I have no idea what you’re asking. You can ‘always’ reimage your pi SD card and install anew.
