Wow. A minute later, and the tracking number appeared. I’ll check it now
My DHL number works too,
Arrived in Ireland today.
I guess they all got sent to Amsterdam by plane… and from there takes transportations to their final destination… some by bus, some by train, others by truck… and maybe some other on another flight…
…and some just spending some extra time in the beautiful capitol on the Netherlands… finding some coffeeshops… gettin’ high… and just chillin for a couple of days…
Most eat cheese on wooden shoes
They ARRIVED!
Now just working on putting them up.
@dimitris19 I had the same question but mine was bound for Portugal. It took 6 days to change to “customs clearance” so I guess yours will be too. From now on I guess it will come by airplane or truck.
Got it
and installed it…
Dont know if brightness should be calibrated?
Welcome more about sunshine uvi etc UV seems too high or too low
The WeatherFlow auto-calibration / continuous learning system has only been deployed to all the stations for Temp and Humidity. Auto-calibration of other parameters has not yet been released. We hope to enable auto-calibration of Brightness, UV, etc by the end of September pending system test results. Once deployed, your Brightness, UV, etc values will get calibrated dozens of times daily and stay calibrated in perpetuity.
Still waiting… Customs cleared in Amsterdam on the 31st and still no news after that.
@WFmarketing @anon84912554 any news on how shipping is going? I am so keen on ordering a new sky and air station and would be just suuuper interested in knowing when you think you could open the store again to sell units to Europe? I cannot wait any longer
Hello @lux4311 . Why yes, we have shipped all stations to all confirmed pre-order backers — over 3000 stations worldwide. As you may know, our current focus is to make sure that all customers are happy with their stations before beginning retail sales. This includes the development and launch of our proprietary auto-calibration / Continuous Learning (CL) system that constantly checks your station data and ensures that everything is in calibration perpetually. As of today 24 Sept, we have yet to deploy the CL system to all stations for all weather parameters…but we hope to enable version 1.0 soon.
The best thing to do is add your email to the “Notify Me When Available” list which is accessible from the links on this page: http://weatherflow.com/smart-home-weather-stations/
Thanks for your enthusiasm and your interest in our Smart Weather Stations. We can’t wait to get one in your hands.
Hi @WFmarketing do you have some updates on this development and the overall situation wrt to retail sales?
I really can´t wait ![]()
Hello @lux4311 . 10 October : still refining the CL system, getting it ready to roll out. In the meantime, our factory is producing another batch of ~1000 new stations which we intend to offer in a limited release in US / Canada via shop.weatherflow.com. We are also evaluating a short list of US retailers to test sales, in-store messaging, and promotions. We do not yet have a definitive date, but we will notify those who add their email to the “Notify Me” list linked from this page: http://weatherflow.com/smart-home-weather-stations/
@WFmarketing What’s your plans for stations sales to NZ (and other non North American countries)? I want to order a couple of stations for friends. What’s the difference between US and AU/NZ models. They are both 915 right? Thanks.
Hi @peter.jeffery.nz . AU and NZ are going through some regulatory changes with radio spectrum allocations that we must navigate and possibly produce unique product variations. As we mentioned previously, our first priority is to get everything right with the product before scaling global distribution. Next step will be a limited retail release in US/Canada. Once that goes well, we’ll look to expand distribution to EU countries and AU/NZ.
If you know any large strategic partners in AU/NZ in the utilities, insurance, or smart home space we would be interested to learn more via direct msg.
