@gizmoev mine has been in customs since the 19th. Others seemed to get cleared way quicker. Just a game of chance it seems.
ā¦or maybe someone called in an anonymous tip that kilogram-sized bundles of cocaine were being smuggled inside a cargo container full of weather stations coming from Chinaā¦
Amazon delivered Li batteries to you?
Yeah, no problem. This was amazon.de delivering goods from France to the Netherlands. But there was a big sticker on it, telling anyone that there were lithium batteries inside.
I beleve mine is on this flight
I got lithium batteries from amazon.uk but they came from Germany to UK with no warning stickers on outside!
interesting enough, this package of lithium batteries was different than the normal packages. Normally, when I order something from amazon.de (germany) it is send through amazon in france. So I assumed this was the case here too without looking. I just checked the box, and to my surprise it was posted in the Netherlands. It doesnāt matter too much. I got my batteries. Next thing to buy is a ladder.
Mine is stuck on Posting. But Weatherflow support says its depart by air on the 6th. Must be flying by carrier pigeon, who has decided New Caledonia is nicer than NZ at this time of the year!
My tracking is at the same stage as you. Sure seems to be taking a long time to get to NZ.
It took 17 days from start to finish for me here in the US But itās well worth the wait
Mine never made it across⦠K.I.Aā¦
@Mike_Rogers Wow cleared customs at Heathrow and itās a long holiday weekend in the UK!
Mine is probably on the same flight but havenāt been scanned at destination. How about yours?
More progress today!
Custom clearance completed, arrived at process center----LONDON - UNITED KINGDOM
I have ordered some new bits & pieces to make another radiation shield. I have one for my Netatmo station, which I was going to put the WF in, but despite it working flawlessly, itās seen better days and needs work to refurbish it. So, itās cheaper to buy some new materials. I have bought 10 carpet saver plates, some threaded rod, some nuts/washers/nylon spacers, some plastikote white spray paint and a 120mm PC fan to make it aspirated. It cost me Ā£35 in total, much cheaper than the Ā£110 for a ready-made one on Amazon.
No mines not been scanned eitherā¦
However -
I also know that the Swedish customs together with Swedish Postal service (Postnord) CHANGES the tracking number and use one of their own to fit their system. Absolutely a NO-NO, its not the first time this happened to me, and I been in contact with them so many times about this⦠but they are unable to understand the problem.
So -
I think the tracking for our packages will no longer recive any updates⦠the package will just show up ⦠or not⦠and no one will knowā¦
Good Job Swedish Postoffices !
