On the Smart Weather Apps, the blue dashboard view is purposefully designed to give the user a quick snapshot of key conditions. The Wind “card” contains an instant 3 sec observation, a 60 second average for direction and speed over the course of the previous minute, and the lowest and highest speed values over last minute.
You can click on the wind card to view detailed wind graphs. The “- | +” toggles of the wind graph will change the temporal resolution of the data displayed, with each point showing as an average for the selected temporal resolution from every 1minute to a daily value (average, low, high for the selected day).
