Finally a easy way to send your Tempest data to CWOP!

I found a June 2023 post by @xd1936 that shows you how to use https://script.google.com to send you Tempest data (and other weather stations) to CWOP (and other platforms). All of the information on how to set it up is at https://github.com/leoherzog/WundergroundStationForwarder

If you don’t have CWOP site ID or need to edit a old one you have it is easy to do at https://madis.ncep.noaa.gov/cwop_signup.shtml

I take it you have to be somewhat comfortable about “writing script” or programs before trying to use this intigration of Tempest to CWOP. I followed the link provided, and it might as well be written in Greek to me!

Hi.

I am new herf. Difficult to set account up but wanted to set up a way of seeing the live data dab in my weather station console without feeding to port forward the whole ckvsole.

I have Ecowitt GW3000 condone with a GW2918 weather station plus a mire accurate rain guage, plus an AQI monitor

I can see this on Ecowitt website (Ecowitt account required) but you don’t need own station ho see ug
wow.metoffuxe.giv.uk and wunderground plus CWOP see my weather station.

Davis site won’t display my ecowitt station.

It’s also on westgefcloud.com as well
However, all these services only update every 5 minutes not in real time.

My ecowitt GW3000 updates everything every 16 seconds and I can see this away from home, but only if I port forward the ckvsole to port 80.

But because it’s set up to my local home network, the Local Network tab is also accessible to all if I port forward my console, potentially revealing my local network login which I need to avoid

The Live Data tab and SD card tab do need ho be accessible but not the others.

Is there a way ho port forward only specific parts of the console so I can access the console away from home if necessary, as well as displaying the local weather on a web page for people in my local area?
