It’s the nature of Snartpost. It’s slow. It’s like taking a bus; it stops at every town to pick up and drop off.

I figure it’s like flying… if you don’t mind 200 layovers to get across the country, then the flight is super cheap.

Well, just when I gave it up for dead in Indiana, they must have strapped that SKY to a squirrel because it made it to my hometown today. It is 2 miles from my house so if I don’t see it by Friday I will walk over there and get it  LOL

Yeah! At least it is moving…keep looking for signs of life on your packages. They WILL make it!

All the best! Love the weather community! So fun to realize you’re not the only person with 4 stations, a 40 year weather record history going back to your cotton region shelter and max/min and sling psychrometer days as a teen!

Best Quote of the day and made me laugh hard . . . :+1::heart_eyes::rofl:

Better a squirrel than a snail. Oh, wait…

Oh yeah… mine is going SNAIL mail for sure! Either way you look at it… 12 hours from NJ to NC and 4 days from NC to GA.

In other news, UPS labor union workers just took a strike vote yesterday. Hope we all get our stations before they walk out in August!!!

Smartpost is FedEx & USPS so we should be fine.

All three services need to hire additional temporary seasonal staff for the holidays, which shows that none of them have the excess capacity to absorb UPS’s traffic in the event of a shutdown. Package logistics is just like IP packet routing…the load shifts to the remaining pipes 'cuz people gotta share their silly cat videos. Just because UPS isn’t carrying a package doesn’t mean that their possible shutdown won’t slow FedEx and USPS down to a crawl when pressed into delivering everyone’s toilet paper subscriptions from Amazon Prime…

My point is most should be delivered before UPS gets shut down.

Uh Oh… Fedex just shifted my delivery by another day… Looks like it will be here on Saturday.

It took two days for mine to go from FedEx to USPS.

Same for mine. It was just hanging out in Mesquite, TX for a while. But I’m happy to say it just arrived. Can’t wait to get home and turn one more blue dot yellow on your map! IMG_1682

Now it has been in Delaware at the post office for 24 hours. This is a one room facility, people. I wonder how long it will sit there before someone thinks to actually deliver it? Does it have a sign on it, saying, “LATER”? Perhaps, “Allow to steep for 24 hours before delivering?” Perhaps like a fine wine, they must allow it to breathe before delivering? Time will tell…

So when I originally backed I ordered two sets. Got both airs and hubs in the same box.
Sky finally came today, but…I only got one Sky.
The sticker on this box says my email address and then *2.
Everything on backerkit says 2 are shipped and delivered and there is only one tracking number.

Should I expect another shipment and tracking number or did something go wrong?

Yes. Something went wrong. Read this:

Lol. Got to keep our heads up! So excited to get it! It is at my local Post office according to tracking and has been there for a day. It is just a one room facility so I am wondering how long it will take them to see it and deliver it! I am in Chicago or I would go over there right now and get it! It should be there when I get home though so that will be so cool! Well worth the wait and glad to see Weatherflow took all the time to get the product right through all the testing and calibrating and retesting!

@danbutter Don’t panic, we got your back. Send me a direct msg so I can confirm who you are and when your other SKY will ship direct from Florida.

You are now in day 7 of the Smartpost 2 to 7 delivery. FedEx is having delivery issues this month.
