I just set up my Tempest station today and also a Raspberry Pi hooked up to an external monitor.
Most of my Tempest station details are showing up on the Raspberry terminal but Temperature Max Min and Trend and also Barometer Low High and Trend is not showing up just dashes on it.. all the rest current Barometer measurement and Temperature - Wind etc. are showing fine.
Is there anything i need to activate or will it take a time perhaps overnight to appear the extremes and trend? the 24h data shows error but understand that’s because not been functioning for 24h yet
Thanks for checking out the PiConsole. The temperature/barometer max/min should show and the trend should show after 3 hours. As you have just set your station up though, let’s give it 24 hours to see if the fields start to populate. It’s possible that with such a new station the API response is a little different to what the console is expecting. If it hasn’t fixed itself within 24 hours, I will take a closer look!
For these rain fields to populate (and the 24 hour temperature difference) I’m pretty sure the console needs to be running for at least 24 hours.
The temperature difference is the difference in temperature now (08:22) compared to the same time 24 hours ago, so if your station was not setup by 08:22 yesterday, then it will still show as dashes.
in case it helps my station id is 212665! I will see how it does within the next 24h.. been plugged now around 4h
